HAPPY (almost) WEDDING DAY!

I can't believe your wedding day is only a week away. It seems like just yesterday you signed your contract! I can't believe it's already (almost) here.
-
I remember the week before my wedding and how stressed I was, running around like a dang chicken with my head cut off trying to remember the 70 million things I had to do before our big day. That's why I made the decision to send out a digital consultation form. It helps me collect the information I need, on your schedule. No more trying to set up a phone call, you've already got enough on your plate! The info I need can be filled in (below) and submitted in just a few minutes, and the best part is you can do it right from your phone while you're taking a bath, having a pedicure, on break at work, or riding in the car.

Please complete the following questionnaire to the best of your abilities and return it to me as soon as possible. The sooner I get it back, the more prepared I can be for your wedding day!

Please let me know if you have a nickname you prefer!
Please let me know if he has a nickname he prefers!

I will wait for you to get back before I post anything from your wedding day. I would hate to interrupt your honeymoon or blow up your notifications when you can't also see what is going on!

When I arrive, I normally tour the venue first, then setup my equipment and begin capturing the details, including the personal items of the Bride (and Groom). Please have the following items set aside for me to grab so I can get right to work:
    • Engagement and wedding rings
    • Veil (if you're not wearing one, that's okay)
    • Bride's shoes
    • Bride's jewelry (earrings, bracelet(s), necklace, ring(s), etc.)
    • Bride's bouquet
The following items are optional - If you'd like to bring these things and have them set out for me, great; If not, that's okay too because it's not necessary:
    • Spare wedding invitation
    • Bottle of perfume
    • Decorative ring box

Is there a specific dress code for your wedding? On wedding days, I typically dress for function rather than fashion (minimal makeup, hair pulled back and out of my face, pants with plenty of pockets for batteries and lens covers, etc.) but I don't want to be overdressed or underdressed for the event.

I am going to have my camera going from the time I get there to the time I leave, but I want to know what you consider to be your TOP FIVE most important shots. Think about the things that you REALLY want to see in your photos and videos. (Example: Groom's reaction to Bride coming down the aisle) If you can't think of anything, just leave it blank. But these are things that I will be set up and waiting for, so I don't miss one single second!

One of my most favorite things at weddings is when the Bride and Groom have a private last dance. Normally the DJ will call for all of the guests to exit the building and prepare for the Bride and Groom's exit, and the Bride and Groom stay behind and have a private dance before they leave the reception. Not everyone plans for one of these, but I find it to be a very intimate moment that makes for fantastic photos and videos. So with that being said...

Do you have any weird family dynamics? Is the "best man" a dog? Is your aunt bringing her emotional support cat on a leash? (You laugh, but these are all things that have been told to me in consultations before!)

If you don't have a finalized timeline, please don't submit this form yet! I *NEED* your timeline to prepare for your wedding. Without it, it's like driving without a map!

And finally, I need to let you know that since I am exclusively breastfeeding my son, I will need to take a private break every 3-4 hours to pump. I don't want you to worry - it will only take a few minutes and I'll work around major points in the timeline so that I don't miss a moment of the action!
